CCD Registration Now Open

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

Beginning this year all children will be automatically registered for our CCD program if they have attended classes in the previous school year. This includes First Communion and Confirmation. Students who have not yet registered in our Catechetical program or were not registered last year may call me at the parish office to register or fill the CCD Registration form and mail/drop by the parish office.

  • First Holy Communion candidates: We will need a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate and registration fees. The registration fees for First Holy Communion are $40/child. The fees for our St. Edward School children are $20. The difference is due to having most of the education for First Holy Communion taught in the SES curriculum.

  • Grades 1st and 3rd-8th: Fr. Blanda has approved that we will not have fees for these grades.

  • Teens for Christ (Grades 9th and 10th): The registration fee is $25/student.

  • Confirmation candidates: We will need an updated copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate and registration fees: The registration fee for Confirmation is $125. This includes the Confirmation retreat.

As of this time, we are planning to have regular scheduled classes/meeting sessions. As we hear more from the state regarding guidelines, we will inform you. Please know that we have your children’s best interest at heart. We are committed to giving you the best assistance when it comes to your child’s learning the Catholic faith.

By way of email, parents whose children are registered will receive class times and dates along with other pertinent information. I would like to especially thank our teachers who will be teaching this year. We also thank Mrs. Eileen Boudoin, Sr. Mary Magdalene and Mrs. Myra Corona for their past service to our program.

Parent Meetings:

  • First Holy Communion - Saturday, August 8 at 10am

  • Confirmation - Sunday, August 9 at 4:30pm

  • Grades 1st, 3rd through 8th - Sunday, August 16 at 9am

  • Teens for Christ (9th & 10th) - Sunday, August 9 at 7pm (Parents & Students)
