Confirmation Program
Confirmation brings an increase and deepening of baptismal grace
In the Catholic Church, anyone that has been baptized properly can and should be confirmed.
Confirmation is a Sacrament in the Catholic Church in which the one who is confirmed (confirmandi) receives the gifts of the Holy Spirit through the imposition of hand and anointing with oils by the bishop. It’s considered a sacrament of initiation which means that it brings you deeper into communion with the Church.
The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit received through Confirmation are
Wisdom
Understanding
Knowledge
Fortitude or Courage
Counsel
Piety or Love
Fear of the Lord

Congratulations to Our Newly Confirmed Parishioners
This year our parish is blessed to have forty-six newly confirmed parishioners. These individuals, grades 8-10, eleven received the sacrament on Tuesday, November 19th by Bishop Deshotel. We congratulate them on their completion of the sacraments of initiation and look forward to seeing them witness the faith empowered by the seven-fold gifts of the Holy Spirit. We thank Fr. Furka and the faith formation team who have prepared them for the reception of this great sacrament.
