#iGiveCatholic Success
Many thanks to all who contributed to this year’s #iGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday. As of Monday, December 9th we received $12,598.00 from the #iGiveCatholic fundraiser for the interior furnishings of our new Adoration Chapel. Donations are still coming in. Here is the breakdown of the items needed and the cost.
Altar: $6,000
Tabernacle: $2,500
14 Kneelers: $10,500 or $750 each
14 Chairs: $12,600 or $900 each
All of the funds collected will be included as Capital Campaign income. This year we chose to use #iGiveCatholic to raise funds needed for the interior of the new Adoration Chapel since #iGiveCatholic reaches people outside our parish as well as within. Many people who benefit from the Chapel of Divine Mercy are not parishioners of St. Peter Parish.
We are grateful to the Knights of Columbus, New Iberia Council 1208 who presented a check to Fr. Blanda to assist with the Legacy Capital Campaign. Their donation is to assist with a new stove which has been purchased for the parish hall. This begins the first of projects slated for the parish hall as outlined in the scope of our Capital Campaign.
