Parish Hall Updated News

Although there seems to have been a visible lull in the activities of the Capital Campaign in the last month, there have been a lot of things happening behind the scenes. We are currently working with Mr. Wayne Broussard to produce a rendering so that all may have a visible concept as to what the Parish Hall renovations will be. We hope to get this rendering published in the near future.

At this point, the money in pledges raised by the Capital Campaign covers all the components of the case statement of the Capital Campaign except the Parish Hall. This is why it is so important to have campaign donors’ intentions turned in, indicating what they plan to pledge over the next three years. We humbly request that if you have received a campaign packet, please return your pledge card so that we can move forward in planning how far we can go financially with the Parish Hall renovation.

For those who have not yet received a packet, we are resuming our process of getting campaign material to all our parishioners after the Christmas/New Year Holiday. You can assist us if you have not yet received the campaign material by calling the Parish Office.  Please ask for Spring Viator. She will assist you in getting a campaign packet in your hands.

We are grateful to the Knights of Columbus, New Iberia Council 1208 who presented a check to Fr. Blanda to assist with the Legacy Capital Campaign.  Their donation is to assist with a new stove which has been purchased for the parish hall. This begins the first of projects slated for the parish hall as outlined in the scope of our Capital Campaign.
